Dr. Wolfe is a neuropsychologist involved with the evaluation and treatment of adult and geriatric patients in Marin County and the greater Bay Area. He is a consultant and treating physician at The Tamalpais, and a consultant for Villa Marin, The Sequoias in San Francisco and for many doctors and attorneys in the community. He is often called upon to evaluate patients with possible dementia, particularly when there are concerns about safety, decision-making capacity, diagnosis and treatment planning.

On matters of brain injury and psychiatric disability Dr. Wolfe is a Qualified Medical Evaluation for the California Worker’s Compensation system and a medical expert for the Department of Social Security. He has provided expert testimony and appeared before various courts concerning issues of mental capacity and disability.

Dr. Wolfe completed his Ph.D. in 1996 at Pacific Graduate School of Psychology in Palo Alto, California, with specialized training in neuropsychology. He obtained his clinical training and experience at a number of medical centers throughout the San Francisco Bay Area including Laguna Honda Hospital, San Francisco General Hospital, the VA Livermore Medical Center and the Memory and Alzheimer’s Center at UCSF.

In Marin County Dr. Wolfe is a member of the Financial Abuse Specialist Team (FAST). He has lectured on matters of aging and mental capacity for the Marin FAST and the District Attorney’s Office, the Marin County Probate Section and for various other facilities and agencies in the community.

Dr. Wolfe is available for office and in home consultations. His office is conveniently located in San Rafael just off the 101 Freeway at the Freitas Parkway exit. It is an easy commute from the East Bay, San Francisco and Sonoma County.

Dr. Wolfe provides services in Marin, Sonoma, and San Francisco Counties and time permitting he may commute to other remote locations.
