Arthur Lambi & Associates (the Firm) was established in December 1992, and currently employs eight well-trained, hard-working, and dedicated professionals. The Firm is staffed with personnel who compliment each other, allowing us the ability to provide a wide range of services to our clients, without the overhead of larger firms. Our services include computer and technology consultations, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services, tax compliance and planning, budgeting, business advisory services, as well as other traditional accounting firm services.
The Firm has been recognized in the “Book of Lists” published by the Providence Business News as one Rhode Island’s most established CPA firms.
The Firm holds a license to practice in the State of Rhode Island and has successfully completed all required external Peer Reviews. This is a process required every three years by the accounting profession’s governing body, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The Firm has received an unqualified report (the “highest grade” possible) during the conduct of all Peer Reviews, and has received only one written comment in 24 years of operation.
The Firm is fully automated and utilizes an office area network, consisting of state-of-the-art software and computer hardware, allowing us to effectively and efficiently provide services to the firm’s clientele.
Clients of the Firm consist of medical and legal professionals, family-owned businesses, and non-profit organizations operating in a variety of industries in Rhode Island and Southeastern New England.

Art is the Founder of Arthur Lambi & Associates, a local public accounting firm located in Cumberland, Rhode Island. The Firm, which was established in 1992, has been consistently recognized in the “Book of Lists” as published by the “Providence Business News” as one of Rhode Island’s most established CPA Firms. Prior to founding his own firm, Art was employed by the international accounting firm of Ernst & Young, as well as the large local accounting firm of Piccerelli, Gilstein & Company. He has consistently appeared at local forums, and on television and radio shows, as an expert business and tax consultant, and has also written technical articles for local newspapers and magazines.
Art was elected by his peers as a Board Member of the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants, the State’s trade organization of Certified Public Accountants. After serving nine years as a board Member, Art was elected in 2012 as the President of the Society and leader of its 2,200 members. Art is also an active member of the profession’s national organization, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and served as a national leader of the accounting industry, as a “Member of Council” in 2011. As a tireless advocate for the accounting profession and Rhode Island’s family-owned businesses, Art was recognized by the Small Business Administration and over 1,100 business leaders and politicians as the “Rhode Island Accountant of the Year 2000”, and more recently (2015) named one of Rhode Island’s “Top Ten Public Accountants” by the National Academy of Public Accounting Professionals.
Art obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from Rhode Island College, where he has been an Adjunct Professor in Accounting and Taxation for over a decade. In 1997, he was recognized by the College as the “Accounting Alumni of the Year”. Art is also a graduate of Bryant University, where he received his Master of Science Degree in Taxation. He was later asked by the University to assist with the development of the Individual Income Tax Section of the Certificate Program in Personal Financial Planning, a course he was also asked to proctor at the University.
In addition to his professional activities, Art has been involved in numerous charitable and civic organizations. Most notably, Art was elected in 2012 as an At-Large Cumberland Town Councilor, and was re-elected in 2014. Art spent four years coaching local Pop Warner Football, and in 2006 coached a team of twelve-year old boys to State and Regional Championships. Art participates weekly as a percussionist with the Music Ministry of his parish, St. John Vianney Church. Married to his “High School Sweetheart” Susan, Art enjoys any activity that involves his two daughters, Jessica and Nicole, as well as spending time with the rest of his family and friends.
