Robert M. Barbacane, the founder and managing partner, is a graduate of the University of Scranton with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and has pursued graduate studies at Widener University.
Rob has experience in providing accounting and auditing, tax and advisory services to a variety of commercial, industrial, nonprofit and governmental entities.
Professionally, Rob is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and the Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a past president of the Delaware County, Pennsylvania, Chapter of the National Association of Accountants and serves on the Political Action, Legislative and Managing Accounting Practice committees of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
As an active member of the community, Rob serves on the board of directors of Crozer Keystone Health System, where he is a member of the finance committee and serves as chairman of the audit committee. He also is active with the Taylor Community Foundation and Neumann University. In addition, he has served on the Accountants Committee of United Way of Delaware. He is past board president of Goodwill Industries of Delaware and Taylor Hospital.
For over 25 years, Rob served as an instructor for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants for courses involving accounting and auditing topics. He has received the Outstanding Instructor Award on several occasions.
