Graham C. Bethel, CPA
Graham Bethel has been practicing accounting since 1971. Having graduated in 1970 from Florida State University with a major in Accounting, he worked for the Auditor General – State of Florida until he began his military service as a lieutenant with the US Army at Ft. Sill, OK. At Ft. Gordon, GA he worked in the post comptroller’s office as an internal auditor. After completing his military service, he worked for a CPA firm in Augusta, GA. Mr. Bethel became a Certified Public Accountant in February 1975 and opened his own accounting practice in Clayton in June of that year.
He is married to Janine Patterson who is retired from the faculty of the University of GA where she taught Public Administration for the Carl Vinson Institute of Government. Mr. Bethel has four daughters and two wonderful grandchildren. He has played the trombone in the Toccoa Orchestra since 1983 and enjoys playing with the Pinnacle Brass. He also sings bass in the church choir at Dillard Methodist.
