Alberto Velella, CPA
Alberto Velella, CPA is the managing partner of Jacobs, Velella and Kerr, P.C. He joined the firm of Herman Jacobs & Co., CPA’s upon graduation as a staff accountant and progressed steadily to become a partner with Herman Jacobs in 1985. He has developed expertise in accounting, auditing and taxation of construction contractors, retailers, manufacturers and the specialized field of Small Business Investment companies. Alberto has dealt extensively with subsidiaries of Italian companies doing business in the United States. Alberto advises many of the firm’s clients in matters of pension and profit sharing administration.
Alberto is a graduate of Bentley College where he received both a B.S. in Accounting and an M.S. in Taxation. He is certified in Massachusetts as a certified public accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. He serves as a director for a number of private companies and as a trustee for various trusts.
