Since 1986, Lederer, Levine & Associates, LLC has been providing quality, personalized financial guidance to local individuals and businesses. The company’s expertise ranges from basic tax management and accounting services to more in-depth services such as not for profit audits, review and compilation, financial statements, and financial services.

Kenneth J. Lederer, CPA
Kenneth J. Lederer, CPA received his CPA license in 1978. In September 1979, Ken formed a CPA firm, which has since evolved into Lederer, Levine & Associates, LLC. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Ken has supervised and performed audits, reviews and other specialized aspects of accounting. Ken is the firm’s partner in charge on many not-for-profit audit and accounting engagements.
Steven J. Levine, CPA
Steven J. Levine, CPA, graduated in 1972 from Bernard M. Baruch College with a BBA in accounting. He received his CPA Certificate in 1979. Steve is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the National Society of Public Accountants.
Steve is the partner in charge of the tax and wealth management divisions.
Derek Flanagan, CPA
Derek Flanagan, CPA, Director of Not-For-Profit Services, has over twenty years experience in providing audit and accounting services exclusively to not-for-profit organizations. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (the “Society”). He serves on the Society’s Not-For-Profit Organizations and Exempt Organization Committees for which he has served on a number of sub-committees. Derek has given lectures before the New York Society of Association Executives, the Inter-Agency Council of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities and the Society.
Derek was the conference co-chair of the Society’s 2007 and 2009 Not-For-Profit Organization Conferences. He was also the co-chair for the 2005 Society’s Exempt Organization Annual Conference. Derek is the current chair for the Society’s Not-For-Profit Organization Committee.
