Lesley started Lewis & Co., CPAs, P.C. on May 1, 2003. Lesley Lewis is a Delta County native. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Mesa State College and her Master of Science in Taxation from the Washington School of Law. Before opening her own firm, Mrs. Lewis worked for Ernst & Young LLP in their National Tax Compliance group and with Mark S. Veta, CPA & Associates, P.C. working with small businesses and their owners. She is active with the Colorado Society of CPAs working with their small business groups and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mrs. Lewis is also a lecturer and consultant with the Small Business Development Center.
Lesley enjoys golfing, reading, and time with family (Steve, Jacob & Elle) and friends. She is involved with the Cedaredge Area Chamber of Commerce, CAPOW (Cedaredge Area Professional Organization of Women), former team captain of the ILGA traveling team of the DeerCreek Village Ladies Club, she is the former Treasurer of the Little Sprouts Community Preschool, and formerly on the Board of Directors for the Midwestern Mental Health Center. For 2009, we are offering our services at no charge to area non-profits.
Debbie Caywood Little – administrative lead – Hotchkiss Office

Debbie Caywood Little joined our firm on November 24, 2008 as the office manager. When our Hotchkiss office opened on June 22, 2009, she became the office manager of the Hotchkiss office. Debbie worked in the convenience store that Lesley’s parents owned for 17 years. She has two daughters ages 22 and 19, a son who is 8, a stepdaughter who is 9 and a stepson who is 10. Debbie enjoys traveling with her husband on their motorcycle, working in her yard and with her house plants, and especially spending time with her kids.
Jane Leon – staff accountant – Cedaredge Office

Jane Leon joined our firm on May 2, 2011. She was born and raised in Cedaredge and has lived here most of her adult life. She has two daughters ages 21 and 28 and is a grand mother of two. Jane has been a business owner and still owns 2 other businesses. Jane is eager to put to use her business experience to better serve this firm. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hunting, fishing, boating at lake Powell, riding snow mobiles, and the summer of planting of the flowers and watching them grow.

Ginny joined our firm on January 3, 2012. She moved to Cedaredge, CO from Pennsylvania in July of 2011. While in Pennsylvania she worked for an accounting firm, Frank Storm & Co CPAs, for over twenty five years. Ginny is enjoying the wide open spaces and blue skies of the “Western Slope”.
Melanie Bates – office manager – Cedaredge Office

Melanie joined our team on May 23, 2011. She moved to Cedaredge in June, 2010, from Denver, where she had lived most of her life. She is enjoying getting used to small town life and living at the base of the Grand Mesa. She is eager to learn how she can use her skills to better serve our firm and our clients. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, camping, reading and trying to get things to grow in her gardens without them becoming a buffet for the local deer population.

Karin Pittman joined the firm on August 15,2011. Karin earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Mesa State College in 1990. She has been a resident of Montrose since 1991. She is the mother of three children and the grandmother of eight. She enjoys spending time with her husband, children and friends. In her spare time she enjoys quilting, needlepoint and riding her bike She has an extensive and varied background in accounting, including the public and private sectors.

Michelle Young joined the firm on August 15,2011. She was born and raised in Cedaredge. Michelle has a Bachelors in Accounting from BYU-Idaho and is working on receiving her CPA. She enjoys gardening and playing tennis on her free time.
