A Brief History
Lindburg & Vogel, Chartered began in 1976 in Hutchinson, Kansas when Clifford E. Lindburg and Kenneth E. Vogel purchased an accounting practice that had been in existence since the late 1940s. As the years progressed, additional offices were established in Topeka, Dodge City and Hays, Kansas. In October of 2007, the Topeka office was relocated to Manhattan, Kansas.
Pierce, Faris & Company was organized in Hutchinson, Kansas on August 1, 1946. As the years progressed other shareholders were admitted into the firm and the name reflected some of those changes. On August 1, 1984, the firm became a professional corporation and the firm name was changed to Pierce, Faris & Co., Chartered.
Each Firm shared the same goals and philosophies and on November 1, 2008, merged to become Lindburg Vogel Pierce Faris, Chartered. Shareholders at the time of merger were Clark Cowl, Gregory Daughhetee, John Denney, Michael Evans, Roger Field, Kenneth Hamby, Michael Meisenheimer, Edward Michel, Nick Mueting, Todd Pflughoeft, Robert Schraeder, and Steven Stoecklein. Billy Klug was admitted as a shareholder on September 1, 2009.

We will strive always to maintain an internal climate conducive to maximizing the full potential of each employee. The size of the organization shall be solely determined by our ability to obtain a highly competent staff to satisfy the needs of our clients.
Our fees shall be fair and reasonable according to all appropriate factors, including the complexity of the engagement and the quality of service we offer.
Consistent with our desire to be a good citizen of the community and a positive force in the profession, we will participate in various CPA activities as well as social, civic, and charitable causes.
