Our firm started as Thomas Burger & Associates, serving primarily fishermen and cranberry farmers throughout the coastal community of Westport, Washington. Tom Burger began the firm in 1978, and he was well known throughout the community for the generous time he committed to helping others.
As the firm grew, it was relocated to Aberdeen, Washington, where we began to specialize in accounting for professional service firms. When Tom Burger passed away, Bob Barene became the sole shareholder and continued Tom’s charitable legacy. Erin DenAdel, whos was born and raised in Grays Harbor, joined the firm in 2007. The firm was renamed Barene DenAdel in 2009 and continues the vision Tom Burger set for the business—to provide excellence to both clients and community.
We were recently voted Business of the Month by the Grays Harbor Chamber of Commerce for our community involvement. Our team of detail-oriented professionals values our ability to provide excellent accounting and tax services. Robert Barene, CPA – Managing Partner
Bob has been part of the Barene DenAdel PS team since 1993; a shareholder since 1999. He provides accounting, tax planning and consulting services to small businesses, specializing in serving the needs of professional services firms and fishing, farming and real estate professionals.
Bob earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Washington.
He as been a Certified Public Accountant since 1992, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Bob serves as the Treasurer for both Our Aberdeen and Ocosta Foundation. He is also a member of the UW Alumni Association.
In his free time, Bob enjoys water skiing, renovating his turn-of-the-century house, attending UW Husky sporting events, and spending time with his family.
