Jesse Jans, CPA – Raised in Western Iowa, Jesse graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in accounting. He passed the CPA exam in 2003 after working at Kuhl, Phillips, and Jans since 2002. As a land owner in Southern Iowa he is very knowledgeable when working with farmers and small business owners alike.
John Phillips, CPA – Raised in Northwest Iowa on a farm, John graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. in accounting. He passed the CPA exam in 1996 and began working at Kuhl, Phillips, and Jans the same year. His background and strong family ties give him a real understanding of the needs of families and small businesses.
Eric Otte, CPA – Raised in Northeast Iowa, Eric graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in accounting and finance. He passed the CPA exam in 2010. As a staff accountant he focuses on payrolls and accounting for small businesses.
Lori Donahoe – Raised in Eastern Iowa, Lori graduated with her A.A. from Scott Community College. Lori has been working at Kuhl, Phillips, and Jans since 1994. She assists the accountants during tax season as well as handles all of the electronic filing of tax returns.
