Rex Koch, CPA
Rexford R. Koch, CPA, is President of Koch & Company. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Miami. Rex is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He and his family have resided in Charlotte County for over 20 years. Rex has enjoyed serving the great variety of individuals and small businesses who enjoy this fine community.
Rex is an active leader and member of numerous organizations throughout Charlotte County over the past 20 years. In recognition for his never ending service to not-for-profit groups, Rex was recognized by the FICPA, when he received the 2004 Public Service Award. Most recently, Rex, who was a graduate of the Leadership Charlotte Class of 1998, was honored by being named as fourth member of “The leadership Charlotte Hall of Fame.”

In 1973, J. Michael Knutte, along with two other CPA’s formed a small accounting practice in Westmont, Illinois. At that time, they provided accounting and tax services to Chicago and suburban businesses and individuals. By the mid-1980’s, the Firm had well outgrown its small office and moved to its current location in Darien, Illinois.
Now well established as a premier accounting, audit and tax practice, Mr. Knutte’s son Dave, joined K&A in 1990, followed by Joe in 1991, Michael in 1994, and Matt in 1999. During this time period, K&A experienced unprecedented growth, transforming from a local practice, to a comprehensive national accounting firm.
Today K&A is managed by Dave, Joe, Michael and Matt Knutte.
