Steve Lawson established his firm in his hometown of Austin, TX in 1985. In 1986 he moved to the small town of Lockhart, TX to serve the local community and surrounding Caldwell County. Steve was, in fact, the first Caldwell County CPA to offer electronic filing services (15 years ago). Steve’s clients come from not only central Texas, but from cities in every corner of the state and beyond.

Steve Lawson, CPA
Stephen “Steve” C. Lawson is a third generation Austinite; his family arrived in the area before Texas became a state. Steve began his career in 1978 after graduating from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. Since that time, Steve has continued his professional growth through thousands of hours of continuing education. He has also developed and provided continuing education to other CPAs. Beginning in 2003, Steve was licensed as a registered Securities and Insurance Agent.
Steve has always been active in the Lockhart community, including participating in the activities of the Chamber of Commerce, the Lockhart Industrial Foundation, and the Caldwell County Appraisal Review Board, and providing support services to each. He is currently an Executive Board member of the Gaslight-Baker Theatre as well as a frequent actor and director of local productions.
