Livings, Lankford, Lambert & Co., P.C. was formed on August 1, 1986, by John P. Livings, Terrell G. Lankford, and F. Chan Lambert. All of the principals were currently in the field of public accounting, but had a collective vision. That vision was one of providing the highest level of personal service to the small business client and individual. We sought to be our client’s “Business Partner”. Our vision has not changed and we have become successful “Business Partners” with a diverse range of clients. Our clients include businesses in health care services, retail and wholesale sales, construction, real estate, nonprofit and manufacturing.
Livings, Lankford, Lambert & Co., P.C. has remained in the forefront of technology in the accounting business. Our bookkeeping software, Client Bookkeeping Solutions, has allowed us to be a “Virtual CPA” to our clients. The effect has been to extend our potential geographic accounting service area to one with few boundaries.

B.T. (Tim) Leigh, CPA
Tim received an accounting degree in 1973 from Florence State University (now the University of North Alabama). After graduation, he went to work in his father’s CPA firm. In 1978, he was made a partner in the firm. In 1995, he became a shareholder in Leigh, King & Associates CPAs. Tim is active in professional and civic organizations, including the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Sheffield Kiwanis Club. Tim completed the Leadership Shoals Class and in 1998, he was named Accountant Advocate of the Year for Alabama by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Tim served on the Colbert County Commission in 2007-2008.
Tim and his wife, Bobbie Lou, reside in Sheffield. Their children, Anthony (wife – Wendy) and Marianne both live in Montgomery.
Karen P. King, CPA
Karen received her degree in accounting from Auburn University in 1975. After some time spent raising her children, she went to work for a local firm in public accounting. In 1990, she became the tax manager of the firm. In 1995, she became a shareholder in Leigh, King & Associates CPAs. Karen’s professional and civic involvement includes the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Woodmont Academy of Fine Arts Board Member and the Shoals Chamber of Commerce, where she recently completed a term as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Karen currently resides in Florence with her husband, Ronnie Voss. She has two sons, Charles and Worth, one daughter-in-law, two granddaughters, three stepchildren two of which are married, and one step-granddaughter.
Judy Meek
Judy received her accounting degree from Freed-Hardman University in 1987. After graduation, she worked in banking, private accounting, and taxes. In 2007, she joined Leigh, King & Associates CPAs. She works in accounting, payroll, and tax returns.
Judy and her husband, Charlie, live in Florence. They have one son, Joseph, currently serving in the U.S. Army.
