Bruce Waxman – Partner
Bruce has served as the Managing Director of The Waxman Group since starting the firm in 2003. The Waxman Group is a retained search firm founded on the principles of providing clients with the resources and reach of a large firm, but the personal touch and partnership achieved in boutique firms. While Bruce is recognized in Los Angeles for his expertise in the Media & Entertainment, Online/Digital and technology verticals, he has developed a well-rounded list of clients in all industries.
Prior to starting his own firm, Bruce was a Partner for 10 years in the Los Angeles office of Ryan Miller and Associates, a large boutique retained search firm. He was responsible for developing their Entertainment/Media practice and built the retained search practice which ranked consistently as one of the top ten search firms in Los Angeles. Bruce’s client base included companies in Digital Media, Entertainment, Consumer Products, and Software/Technology.
Previous to joining Ryan Miller, Bruce served as the Vice President of two operating divisions that specialized in financial search for the Accountants Overload Group. Before transitioning into executive search, Bruce worked for the public accounting firm of Laventhol & Horwath in both the Philadelphia and Los Angeles offices. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Temple University in Philadelphia where he graduated with honors. Bruce currently lives in Pacific Palisades with his wife Rosalie, their daughter Sana, and dog Bodhi.
